More than a test

Your results stay in good hands

A sleep test only helps if someone acts on it. At SLIIIP, the licensed provider who orders your test can also treat what it finds.

  1. Take the test
  2. Get your results
  3. Start treatment
  4. Follow-up care

With many testing-only services

  • You get a report, then find a doctor on your own.
  • Treatment means a new clinic, new forms and a new wait.
  • Often a CPAP prescription and little else.
  • Follow-up is up to you.

With SLIIIP

  • Your SLIIIP provider reviews your results and creates a treatment plan.
  • Start treatment with the same team. No new intake.
  • A plan that fits you, with options beyond CPAP.
  • Follow-up visits, including the ones insurance requires to keep covering CPAP.

What is a home sleep test?

A small sensor you wear for two nights. It records your breathing patterns and oxygen while you sleep, so a sleep physician can see what is really happening.

  • Two nights, at home. Sleep in your own bed, on your own schedule.
  • Small and simple. A few sensors and an app on your phone. Setup takes about 5 minutes.
  • Scored to AASM standards. Interpreted by a board-certified sleep physician.

Some health conditions need a lab study instead. The assessment checks for these.

What is sleep apnea?

Obstructive sleep apnea is when your airway narrows or closes during sleep, so breathing pauses or becomes shallow many times an hour. It can cause loud snoring, gasping, morning headaches and daytime tiredness, and it is treatable.

Do I need a referral?

No. You can start with the free assessment. A licensed SLIIIP provider reviews it and orders your test if it is right for you.

Does the test hurt or keep me awake?

No. There are no needles and only a few small sensors. Most people sleep normally. Recording two nights also gives your physician a backup if one night is restless.

What if I do not have sleep apnea?

Good news is still useful news. SLIIIP treats more than sleep apnea, including insomnia, restless legs, circadian rhythm disorders and more, so your provider can help you look at what else may be affecting your sleep.

What happens after the test?

A board-certified sleep physician reads your results and you receive a sleep report. Your provider walks you through your options and builds a plan that fits your life. Not everyone needs CPAP. Options include oral appliances, CPAP and drug-free insomnia care, all with the same team.

Can I use my HSA or FSA card?

Yes. The self-pay plan accepts HSA and FSA cards.

Which states do you serve?

SLIIIP provides telehealth sleep care in all 50 states.

Why test with a sleep practice instead of a testing company?

Because the test is the start, not the finish. With SLIIIP, the same providers who order and read your test can start treatment, adjust it and handle the follow-up visits insurance often requires to keep covering CPAP.
