Meet Natarajan Rajagopalan MD

Dr. Rajagopalan (Raj) is board certified in Sleep Medicine both by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and American Board on Internal Medicine. Dr. Raj started his career in sleep at Mayo Clinic Rochester where he researched breathing during sleep. Since then, he has practiced Sleep Medicine in addition to Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Raj worked as the Chief of Sleep Lab in Aventura Hospital, Florida from 2000-2008 and then worked as a Sleep specialist at the University of Massachusetts (UMASS) Worcester from 2008-2010. Dr. Raj then went into private practice from 2010 to 2014 and then joined Capital Regional Hospital, Tallahassee as a pulmonologist and Sleep specialist. He then worked in Pulmonary, Critical care and Sleep at the VA Hospital Orlando until recently. His interest is, besides sleep apnea and snoring various, other sleep related disorders such as sleep terrors, nightmare, sleepwalking and narcolepsy. Dr. Raj has also published papers in sleep apnea and restless leg syndrome.
