Sue Ellen Bowes is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has been practicing in the field of sleep medicine since 2017. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati and has developed extensive experience across all areas of sleep medicine. In addition to her clinical work with OSA and CSA, she has experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), helping patients address the behavioral and psychological factors that impact sleep.
Since 2021, Sue Ellen has also provided telemedicine care, offering patients the flexibility and accessibility of virtual visits while maintaining the same high standard of personalized care found in the clinic. She greatly values the meaningful interactions and convenience that telehealth brings to her patients.
Passionate about the vital role of sleep in overall health and well-being, Sue Ellen is dedicated to helping each patient achieve better sleep through attentive listening, understanding individual challenges, and developing customized treatment plans to support lasting, restorative sleep.
Sue Elen resides in North Carolina with her husband and children. When not working to improve the sleep of her patients, she enjoys traveling, spending time at the beach, in the mountains hiking, and especially spending time with her family.
